8-Week Maths Mastery · Primary 3–6

When Maths stops adding up, there is usually a missing piece.

Your child may be trying hard but still getting stuck. Sometimes the problem is not today's topic. An earlier Maths skill may still be weak.

We find the missing skill, strengthen it, then help your child move forward.

Does this sound familiar?

Your child is trying, but Maths still feels hard.

“They understand when the teacher explains, but get stuck when they are alone.”
“They keep making the same mistakes.”
“They have learnt this before. Why can't they remember it?”

The hard topic may not be the real problem.

Two children can get the same Maths question wrong for completely different reasons.

It may be today's topic.

Your child may simply need a clearer explanation.

It may be an older gap.

A skill from last term or last year may still be weak.

They may understand it, but struggle to use it alone.

The method makes sense in class, but a different-looking question causes trouble.

We do not start with:

“Give this child more work.”

We start with:

“What is this child actually finding difficult?”

Maths builds on itself

School has to keep moving. A missing skill can stay behind.

Your child may be learning fractions today while still unsure about times tables, multiplication or place value.

We go back, find the shaky skill, strengthen it, then help your child move forward.

Today's new topic feels hard
Fractions still shaky
Times tables & multiplication important
Place value stronger
Find the shaky block first.
How the 8 weeks work

We do more than explain the Maths.

Your child learns in live classes, practises between lessons, reviews mistakes and gets another chance to work on skills that are still difficult.

1. Check

See what your child already knows.

2. Find the gap

Spot the skill that needs help.

3. Teach

Explain the Maths clearly.

4. Practise

Use the skill again and again.

5. Review

Look at mistakes and try again.

6. Track

See what is getting stronger.

“I understand when the teacher explains.”
“I can do it myself.”
You won't be left wondering

See what is happening with your child's learning.

You should not have to wait for the next school report to know whether anything is changing.

Who this is for

Your child does not have to be failing Maths.

This programme can also help a child who needs stronger basics, more practice or more confidence working on their own.

✓ Keeps making the same mistakes
✓ Has weak times tables or other basic skills
✓ Understands in class but struggles alone
✓ Needs more regular Maths practice
✓ Is doing okay but needs stronger basics before harder Maths

Primary 1–2? Younger learners can use the Study4Excellence Learning App for now.

Different school programme?

That's okay.

Schools may teach Maths in a different order, but children still need many of the same important skills.

Questions parents ask

Still wondering if it is right for your child?

Here are the things parents usually want to know before they enrol.

Enrol
Who can join?
The live programme is for Primary 3–6 learners. Children in a similar age group who follow a different school programme can also join.
Can my child join if they follow British, Cambridge or IB?
Yes. We work on important primary Maths skills. The starting check helps us see which skills your child needs more help with.
Will this help a Year 5 child preparing for 11+?
It can help build the Maths foundation your child needs for 11+, including number work, times tables, fractions and problem solving. It also gives your child a chance to go back and strengthen earlier skills that may have been missed.
Does my child have to be failing Maths?
No. It can also help a child who needs stronger basics, more regular practice or more confidence working on their own.
What if times tables are the main problem?
Times tables are an important part of the programme. Weak times tables can make division, fractions, factors, multiples and longer calculations feel harder.
How many live classes are included?
There are 24 live Maths classes. Your child has 3 classes each week for 8 weeks. Each class lasts 40 minutes.
What if my child misses a live class?
Class replays are available so your child can catch up.
How are class times chosen?
After enrolment, you choose every class time that can work for your child. We then form groups using learner level, the times families choose and tutor availability.
Where do I see the programme price?
Select Enrol. Selar shows the programme price before you pay.
What happens at the end of the 8 weeks?
Your child completes a final check. You receive a progress report showing what looks stronger, what still needs work and what to focus on next.
The right support starts with understanding

Your child does not need to be labelled “bad at Maths.”

They may simply need someone to find where the difficulty starts, teach it clearly, give them time to practise, and help them try again.

Find the missing piece. Strengthen it. Then build forward.
