1. Information we may collect

We may collect parent or guardian name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, learner name, learner age, class or grade, school curriculum where relevant, programme enrolled in, class availability, learning assessment responses, scores, attendance, Learning App activity, tutor notes, support messages and progress information.

2. Payment information

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Study4Excellence may receive payment status, transaction reference, amount paid, product purchased and customer contact details. We do not need to store full bank-card details where these are handled directly by the payment provider.

3. Why we use information

We use information to register learners, process enrolment, form suitable class groups, provide live teaching, provide Learning App access, track attendance and practice, provide learning checks, communicate with parents, send progress updates, provide technical support, manage payments, improve programmes, protect learners and meet administrative or legal obligations.

4. Children's information

Many Study4Excellence users are children. A parent or authorised guardian must provide or approve the information required for a child to participate. We aim to collect only information reasonably needed to provide the educational service.

5. Diagnostic and learning information

Study4Excellence may collect information from diagnostic checks, quizzes and practice activities to understand what a learner appears to understand, where support may be needed, practice activity and progress. These checks are educational tools and are not medical, psychological or clinical diagnoses.

6. Live classes and recordings

Some live online classes may be recorded. A recording may include the tutor, lesson slides, first names, voices, chat messages, poll responses, whiteboard activity or learner contributions. Learner cameras will normally remain off during recorded lessons unless different instructions are given.

7. Parent communication

We may contact parents or guardians by email, WhatsApp, SMS, Telegram, Moodle or another communication channel used by the programme. Operational messages may include class information, login details, attendance, practice reminders, progress updates, programme changes and support messages.

8. Who may access information

Information may be accessed by Study4Excellence administrators, assigned tutors, accountability staff and authorised service providers who need the information to provide the service.

9. Service providers

Study4Excellence may use external services for website hosting, Moodle, live classes, payment processing, email, messaging, data storage, analytics and programme administration.

10. We do not sell personal information

Study4Excellence does not sell parent or learner personal information to advertisers.

11. How long we keep information

We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for programme delivery, learning records, customer support, accounting, legal obligations and legitimate business records.

12. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or inappropriate disclosure. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

13. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, parents or guardians may ask us to confirm what information we hold, correct inaccurate information, update contact details, stop optional marketing, or request deletion of information that we are not legally or operationally required to retain.

14. Photos, testimonials and promotional use

Enrolment does not automatically give Study4Excellence permission to use a learner's photo, video, identifiable project, testimonial or personal story for public marketing. Appropriate parent or guardian permission should be obtained before identifiable learner material is used publicly.
